This cranberry water with lime is simply delicious! Amazingly refreshing, with the perfect blend of tart and sweet. Great for weight loss too.
I usually make a green smoothie with lemon juice every morning but I was in the mood for something a little different today. I had a bag of frozen cranberries and fresh limes in the fridge. Perfect!
Add cranberries, freshly squeezed lime juice, a little raw honey with water to a blender and blend. Pour it through a sieve and voila.
A healthy drink from fresh or frozen fruit. So simple too.
If you prefer sugar-free, you can add erythritol and several drops of stevia instead of the honey.
The health benefits of cranberries are huge. Cranberries are well known to help heal urinary tract infections. They are rich in antioxidants and help clean your liver. Great for detoxifying and as I already said and I’ll say it again, weight loss.
But forget about the health benefits, it just tastes great! So go grab some cranberries and make yourself a refreshing glass of cranberry water with lime. 🙂
Cranberry Water with Lime
Ingredients
- 3 cups water
- 3/4 cup frozen cranberries
- 1 lime juiced
- 2 tablespoons raw honey or to taste
Instructions
- Add water, cranberries, juice from 1 lime, and raw honey into a blender.
- Blend until well combined.
- Strain through a sieve.
- Serve and enjoy.
